What is the format for a web-based training?

You will be asked to complete pre-webinar assignments which can take up to 5 hourse, and attend 1 real time webinar with your T-Trainer and up to 25 other trainees. Participants will meet together through the webinar meeting for up to 3 hours.

How do I access the pre-webinar activities?

The update training requires that you spend time reviewing training videos and completing training assignments before the webinar. All training activities and videos can be found on the website. After you have registered, you will receive a username and password to access the training site about 2 weeks prior to the webinar. That email will also contain details about the times and dates for the webinar and for homework deadlines.

How do I access the webinar?

We will send you an invitation via email to access the webinar. This email will contain the dates and times as well as any other instructions that you will need. There is also an instruction form that you can download from the update training site.

How do I register for update training?

A link to the trainings and the registration form will be found on the menu on this page.

What if I know someone else that wants to attend?

In order to get credit for attending an update training, each trainee needs to register for the training. Send them the link to this page.

Once I am updated, can I update Leaders using the web format?

No. Only Stanford trainers can conduct web-based update trainings. Updating Leaders must be done face-to-face. You will receive an update manual for the 1 or 2-day update Leader Training.
