Training Fees for Stanford Self-Management Programs

Training at Stanford University
Costs for training at Stanford for the 4½ day CDSMP Master Training:
- $1600 per health professional
- $900 for a lay person with chronic disease
Included in this training is all instruction, one set of all materials, and breakfast for 5 days, lunch for 4 days and one evening banquet.
Cross Training (1½ days) for Tomando Control de su Salud or Programa de Manejo Personal de la Diabetes $700. Included is all instruction, 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches as well as one set of all materials.
Web-Based Cross Training
Costs for web-based cross trainings are:
- $450.00 forChronic Pain Self-Management Program
- $450.00 for Diabetes Self-Management Program
- $350.00 for Positive Self-Management Program (HIV)
- $350.00 Arthritis Self-Management Program
Off-site Training by Stanford University
Fees for 4½ day CDSMP, Spanish CDSMP, English Diabetes, Spanish Diabetes, or PSMP Master Training:
- $10,000 paid to Stanford
- $6,000 paid directly to 2 trainers ($3,000 each)
- $4,000 paid to Stanford
- $2,400 paid directly to 2 trainers ($1,200 each)
- $3,000 paid to Stanford
- $1,200 paid directly to 2 trainers ($600 each)
Additional Costs for Off-Site Training
The organization contracting for the training will need to supply:
- Transportation and per diem for two trainers
- Materials for all trainees. These include one book for each program, two manuals for each program, and two relaxation CDs. The master copies for the manuals will be sent to the organization for reproduction. Costs for books and CDs can be found on our materials page.
- One full set of completed workshop charts for each program
- One copy of the CDSMP provider video (for CDSMP training)
- Training in Spanish for either arthritis or chronic disease has one additional exercise CD
